Regents Park Engagement Photoshoot
Jess & George chose the beautiful Regents Park for their engagement photography session and wow did we pick an amazing night for. With soft golden light, and flowers blooming everywhere we looked – it really was magical. Regents Park is one of my favourite locations in London and it’s not hard to see why. There are endless beautiful spots and although it’s central London it’s actually easy to find quiet spots to enjoy a moment.

When choosing the location for your engagement session it’s important to find somewhere you have a connection with or somewhere that you are head over heels with! I always try to schedule these sessions for golden hour – the light is the most flattering of the day and the golden light is endlessly romantic.
Pets always welcome
So many of my clients choose to include their fur babies and they are absolutely always welcome! No more so than Bagel the Beagle who was an absolute angel on this shoot! I loved having an excuse to cuddle him while I shot some solo portraits of his Mum & Dad!
What to wear matters
What to wear is one of the most important parts of your shoot. While lots of brides choose to wear white or a hint at a Bridal look – if this doesn’t feel like ‘you’ then of course you don’t have to. I want you to feel incredible and love the look you choose. Jess looked in her wardrobe and saw an array of beautiful and colourful dresses so felt wearing white just to be ‘Bridal’ wasn’t quite right for her. Hearing that was music to my ears and always what I encourage anyone to do!

When you book me as your wedding photographer an engagement or ‘pre-wedding’ shoot is included within the package. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other and you can also practise posing together ahead of the big day. Many of my couples also use these images as decor at their wedding venue.
