Being authentic in front of the camera is hard... Being authentic in front of the camera is hard... your photographer is not expecting you to be a pro model but they can only capture what's in front of them so here are the most important things you can do for a great outcome... 1. Trust your photographer - if they suggest a prompt or pose - just go with it and try it! Chances are they are trying to get you to relax and actually want the natural interaction after the pose! 2. Keep moving - the worst thing you can do is feel stuck and stiff. Keep walking, moving, dancing, playing - it photographs so beautifully and makes everything more natural! 3. Positive words only... even if you are feeling nervous try to only voice positive thoughts while shooting. It's amazing how you can change the vibe from 'I'm dreading this/so nervous' to 'let's just go have fun and do this together!' 4. Turn any negative nerves into laughter... the absolute best thing you can do is laugh your way through the session! Lean into your partner, laugh together and get all of that nervous energy into something positive! 5. And of course - communicate with your photographer! We want to capture who you really are as a couple but we can only do that if you work with us and communicate! It takes a huge amount of trust and we never take that for granted! Location: Choose a venue that is easily accessible for your guests. Consider proximity to airports, hotels, and public transportation. If you choose a venue without these things you will need to add transportation costs for your guests into your budget. 3. Capacity: Make sure the venue can accommodate your desired number of guests comfortably. You don't want to choose a venue that is too small or too big. 4. Date availability: Check the venue's availability for your desired wedding date. If you have a specific date in mind, it's best to book early to avoid disappointment. 5. Catering options: Consider the catering options available. Do they offer in-house catering or allow outside vendors? Make sure the food options suit your tastes and dietary requirements. 6. Ambience and decor: Consider the style and atmosphere of the venue. Do the decor and ambiance match your wedding theme and personal taste? 7. Amenities: Check if the venue offers additional amenities such as a bridal suite, parking, or on-site accommodation for guests. 8. Weather contingency plan: If you're planning an outdoor wedding, make sure the venue has a backup plan in case of bad weather. 9.
