Sophie & Piotr are getting married at Micklefield Hall later this year & were just so amazing on their engagement session that I had to share a few frames with you! They wanted that gorgeous golden hour glow so we chose the perfect Sunset Engagement Photography location in Buckinghamshire – Coombe Hill.

Why have an engagement session?
In the run up to your wedding there will be many moments of decision making and stress so I think it’s incredibly important to take a moment to reflect and remember why you are doing it all. I have designed the engagement session to be relaxing, fun and a perfect way to reconnect. You will build your confidence in posing with your partner so by the time we get to the wedding day you are a posing pro!

Choosing your location…
When choosing your location there are a few things to keep in mind! How confident are you? If we choose a busy city chances are there will be people around so you need to be able to focus on your partner, shut them out and not worry that they are watching. Choosing a countryside location almost always means there will be no-one else around! Do you have a location that means a lot to you as a couple? I would always prefer to shoot somewhere that you love and can help you narrow it down to make a great choice. Want to grab a boat and go punting in Oxford? Let’s do it! Want to jump in a stream in the cotswolds? Absolutely – I can’t wait!

Magical light…
It’s always worth waiting for that magical golden hour! It’s the most flattering light to shoot in so you’ll get that golden glow and no harsh shadows from bright sun earlier in the day!
