Congratulations to Jennie & Elliot who were married at Caswell House in the Cotswolds this summer. Caswell is one of my favourite venue to shoot at for so many reasons – including the amazing team that run it and of course the beautiful setting. I had to share this beautiful day with you all and hopefully it will give you some inspiration for your own planning too!

The Bride surprised the Groom with a string trio playing songs that mean a lot to the couple. It was a very emotional moment!

The ceremony set up was just beautiful – outside in the grounds of Caswell House.

The moment the Bridal party saw the Bride was just perfect – I always help to set these moments up so they are seamless and easy for you!

Once the Bride is dressed I always head over to the ceremony to capture guests arriving, taking their seats and being looked after by the Groomsmen!

Jennie brought her confetti from one of my favourite suppliers – Proper Confetti London. The biodegradable paper is super lightweight so hangs beautifully in the air after it’s thrown – making the perfect photo!
Time for the drinks reception! This is always a mix of candid and posed moments. I work quickly to get through your group shot list so we can get you back into your party and enjoying your guests company!

Once all of the group shots are done I always check in with the couple to see if they would like a break from photos and to enjoy a drink or if they would prefer to crack on and enjoy a moment of calm away together. We go for a walk around the venue, stopping in many different beautiful locations to give you a varied and beautiful couple portrait gallery. Caswell House is amazing for this as every corner is stunning!

Your gallery wouldn’t be complete without me capturing ‘the details’. That’s everything you’ve planned for the past 2+ years all coming together – from the table plans to favours and everything in between!

Time for dinner! While I never photograph guests eating, I always like to get ‘clean table’ shots as everyone sits down together and greets the other guests at their table. Of course, I’m never far away and jump back in to capture all of the speeches!

Depending on the time of year and the weather, I always try to steal the couple for another short couple portraits session at Sunset. The beautiful golden light makes for such romantic photos and it’s nice to take a little moment away with your partner too!

Once the cake is cut that’s it for the formalities – time to dance the night away! These are always some of my favourite photos of the night as everyone let’s their hair down! Jennie & Elliott also booked another one of my recommended suppliers – Paul Saliba on Sax! He really add’s so much to the party & the guests always absolutely love him!

Congratulations again, Jennie & Elliott! It was such a joy to be there to capture your perfect day!
