As a Hedsor House wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing many unforgettable celebrations at this iconic Buckinghamshire venue — but this spring’s Indian and Greek fusion wedding was something truly extraordinary. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hedsor’s Georgian architecture and its lush spring gardens, this day perfectly intertwined rich cultural traditions into one seamless, joy‑filled celebration. I always say to my couples, the best weddings are the ones that are totally and unapologetically ‘you’. Only doing what you want and including the traditions you love but leaving out the ones that don’t bring you joy.
As a wedding photographer at Hedsor House, my goal is always to tell a story — to capture every emotion, laugh, glance, and detail that make a couple’s day truly theirs. From the bride’s intricate jewellery to the golden hour portraits on the terrace, every frame told part of this multicultural love story.
My wedding photography package always includes a second shooter as standard – this means we can cover both partners getting ready simultaneously. I never want to miss a moment of the story so this is incredibly important to me.
The most beautiful ceremony
Hedsor House has the rare ability to feel both grand and intimate. Its adaptability makes it ideal for multicultural weddings that might include multiple ceremonies, outfit changes, or unique traditions. There’s space for everything — from private tea ceremonies, chuppah or mandap setups in the Centre Hall to elegant receptions in the Ballroom overlooking the Thames Valley.
The perfect drinks reception
After such a moving ceremony it was time for champagne, family photos & even a trip down to feed the Highland cows, of course!
Time for dinner & speeches!
From this point on the vast majority of your day is photographed completely candidly. I like to let the moments unfold naturally and make sure they are captured in a beautiful, and flattering way for you & your guests.
Golden Hour Portraits
After dinner there is always time to sneak out for a few golden hour portraits to make the most of Hedsor’s beautiful grounds. This is when I fly my drone to really show the scale and grandeur of your venue and the final result always gives you a portrait that is worthy of framing in your home.
An evening to remember
The cake was cut and then it was time for a quick outfit & hair change. Then we headed back downstairs ready to open the dance floor! The fusion details were stunning: Bollywood beats blending into Mediterranean melodies, and guests dancing together under sparkling lights until late into the night.
