Hedsor House Wedding Photography
It’s no secret that Hedsor House is one of my favourite wedding venues in the UK and I’m lucky enough to shoot there regularly every year and know it like the back of my hand. Every single wedding I shoot here is a joy and it’s always amazing to see how each couple will make it their own. Holly & Lars set the bar incredibly high with a truly perfect wedding day.

Bridal Preparation in the Bridal Suite at Hedsor House
The bridal suite at Hedsor is legendary – it is 3 rooms of pure perfection and one of the most amazing bathrooms you’ll ever see. Plenty of room for a large bridal party to relax & enjoy as they get ready for the day. Holly made sure her morning was perfectly paced and left enough time for emotional gift giving, photos throughout the suite and a reveal for both Dad and the bridesmaids. Holly wore a custom Suzanne Neville gown from Ellie Sanderson Boutique.

Groom Prep in the library
Just down the hall, Lars and his groomsmen prepared for the day. Looked after perfectly by my team member, Ami.

A church ceremony on the Hedsor estate
Not many of my couples choose to marry in Church but it’s always so special when they do. The Hedsor church is small but perfectly formed and has just enough room to fit your favourite people. After the all important vows were exchanged it was time for Confetti (from my favourite supplier, Proper Confetti of course!) and then a walk back up to the main house with all of their guests following behind.

The walk up the hill was a nerve wracking one for just a select few of us who were in on a very special secret! Once we left the church a phone call was made to let the pilot know to take off… we then had a matter of minutes to get everyone back to the house and in place for the big surprise! Holly’s Dad is a pilot and had arranged the perfect wedding gift for the happy couple! It all went off perfectly and as you can see, made for the most incredible photo moment.

After some very emotional thank you’s it was time for group photos for the key family & bridal party while the guests were greeted to champagne & canapés in the gardens.

The bride & groom stole a few moments to take it all in, while walking through the sunken gardens and practising their first dance surrounded by flowers.

After the drinks reception it was time for speeches, special hand written notes from the couple for each guest and so much more!

On to the evening reception…
Next up it was time to ‘cut the cake’ in Norwegian traditional style. The couple lift the rings and the number that comes up signifies how many children they will hopefully have one day! The decor from Bubblegum Balloons was a truly ‘wow’ moment as the couple shared a perfectly choreographed first dance beneath.
